You Deserve To Lose...Part II

46,181 (92.2% full).

It was Game 2!

It was Smoltz and Clemens!!!

What in the name of Biff Pocoroba is the matter with you??????

It was raining? Awwwwwwwwwwww. Poor babies scared of a little water. Why? I know y'all prefer not to wash your hands, but rainwater doesn't contain soap!

Does Game five have to be Macay McBride bobblehead night for a sellout in the playoffs?

Why so bitter Met fan? Glavine just not getting it done for you? I was in the city two weeks ago listening to Mike and the Mad Dog planning for another off season. I bet if I would have told you in SEPTEMBER of 1991 that "wait til next year" would be a decade and a half later...you'd all be Yankee fans right now.

Laughing at your payroll in the dirty south...

How many Mets playoff games have you attended these last 14 years, Seven Train?

(Heh.)

Our bitter hearts are never content.

And it takes a lot more than 14 years of wait until next year to turn us into Yankee fans, no matter what your Hooters lovin' third baseman says.

Braves fans however, even after 14 years of division titles, aren't so loyal. Look here for proof:

Re Atlanta attendance:

I think it was King Hank V who said, "We few, we happy few."

And we are happy... that we aren't sitting at home grousing about the attendance of teams that did make the playoffs.

Of course, I realize your witty remarks about Southerners and the Bravos are made in jest and are all in good fun. As one of your own, Mr McEnroe, was wont to say, "You cannot be serious."

Bitter Mets fans always need a little good fun.

And please don't think I'm ragging on Southerners. There are millions of Yankee fans that are afraid of soap too ;)

Soap! Afraid of soap? S$#*&^$, I watch em everyday.

In an effort to bridge the gap, reduce the animosity, and to heal the wounds festering between us inbreds and you city folk... I propose that we contribute an outstanding veteran outfielder to your efforts next year. Hell, he is even a retired football player. Maybe the Jets will sign him too...In exchange, we will take Looper off your hands and Leo will make him into a real pitcher. Deal?

NO! No deals with the braves! The bridge must never be gapped - it must be burned! You Braves fans and your Julio Franco . . . ooooooooohhh I hate him.

The only reason I'll ever stop to watch a Braves game is to hope he'll finally have that heart attack while up to bat.

OOOHHH Better yet! It will happen when they play the Mets and it will be brought on by being plunked by Pedro . . . or Glavine! Yes! Glavine plunks Julio thus spuring the heart attack! Finally Glavine gets his revenge!
