Agbayani, playing right field, went three for four with two RBI's including his first home run of the series for the Bobby Valentine managed Marines, just before the game was called. Matt Franco went 1 for 4 for Chiba Lotte.
One thing I learned in trying to follow this series: don't try to read the game log straight from the Marines website. Something is definitely lost in the translation. Here, for example, is the log from the bottom of the first inning:
(The Tigers pitcher * Ikawa)Racketeer? Promontory? Death?
1st Nishioka swing wide three swing. 1 death
2nd now to the river left stand solo home run of the series 1st number! 1 death. 1-0 To 3rd luck inlet left line 2 based hits! 1 death 2 base
4th sub low third racketeer. 2 deaths 2 base
5th village promontory swing wide three swing. Change
Wow, I didn't know the game was so violent in Japan.
By the way...since the game was called right after Benny's dinger due to fog, does that count as a walk off home run?
It wouldn't be the first...

How's that for an answer?
I can't say I'm the biggest METS fan (reference my name...) BUT I do read your blog all the time because it is one of the best written ones out there. Yankees fans are falling short when it comes to writing, so I started my own blog. Peruse it if you please, you might at least find Yankees propaganda to fuel your hatred!! :) http://yankeeschick.blogspot.com/
chick, enemies are always welcome. Hatred and bitterness always needs fuel.
Thank you for the kind words.
Bernie Mac should have his head put on a spit. He was allegedly the biggest Cubs fan in the world in 2003 and he's seen on the South Side with a White Sox jersey last night!!! That's unacceptable...
I went to plenty of Con Ed games, Jabair....thank god, your neighbor was smart enough to keep your dumb ass out of our cathedral...
And I'm still waiting for your address...
That IS unacceptable.
I still loved Ocean's Eleven.
This judge says no walk-off for Benny there...not when you win by that much
but then again, its in the eye of the beholder. there are no rules when it comes to walk-offs
Jabair,
Since it's a fruitless, tedious exercise to get you to give me your address since I did exactly what you asked and made the request here...I'm going to stop asking. Since you're probably 4'10'' with a limp and a bad acne problem. Or are you as ugly as the kid posted on your blog? I should feel sorry for you, since they obviously didn't have punctuation and grammar classes available in San Jose.
You and Erik Love are just mad that only ugly girls root for the Mets.
Let me get this straight. I'm being called a fake tough guy....by two geeks who go on other people's blogs(people they don't know) and talk smack about me? At least Erik Love's blog is somewhat amusing and informative....What's your excuse, Jabair? The only thing on your blog is a ugly little kid with a hand on his head? Why don't you start posting your own stuff instead of riding Metstra's nuts and the rest of the Mets bloggers? What's your excuse? You can harass girls but you don't have the guts to do your own thing? Since you have the writing skills of an autistic three-year old, noone would probably read it.
Metstradamus, despite our sniping, is one of my best friends. I have no problems with the rest of Mets bloggers except you two because you decided to make your comments personal.
Just remember this...you're the ones talking about my lack of a social life...on the internet! Who's more pathetic? The subject or the ones yapping about him?
Chew on that, geeks....
Oh and by the way, Erik, I forgot to address this earlier...since when is it ok for a White Sox fan to wear a Cubs jersey? Why are you letting Bernie Mac off the hook, Erik? Would any of you wear Yankees gear just because they represent New York? The fact that all these Molly fan websites exist tells me the answer to that question is no.....
Spellcheck is a wonderful invention, Jabair...use it.
This is boring....
Since this is getting tired and tedious, Jabber-Jaws, this is the last time I dignify anything you write with a response.
You probably have as many hits on your profile because people are wondering who the hell this jackass is that's commenting on their blogs. When someone I don't know leaves a comment, I check their profile out of curiosity. I'm sure I'm not the only one. Since you have no life, you probably read about 1000 blogs regularly and make stupid comments on at least half of them. So I'm not surprised that you have as many hits on your profile.
I deleted your comments because you were crude and personal. And I have kids that read my blog. Dog my team all you want, tell me that I suck...but you crossed the line with the things you wrote. I'm the moderator and I outrank you.
You act as if I care that I
don't have a billion hits on my blog. I started writing my blog to vent about my team and life in general. My friends told me that I should start a blog and it's for their benefit that I write it. They read it and enjoy it and that's all that matters. They've gotten their friends to reading it and they email me to tell that they enjoy it. They don't have to comment on the blog because they know me personally and do it either in person or by email. Would it be cool to have Metstradamus' blogosphere following? Maybe. But if I have to deal with jackasses like you pissing people off on my blog, I'll take my very small but loyal following thank you very much.
I'm not making money on this thing so what do I care how many hits I have? It's for my entertainment and my friends. Not yours.
But you failed to answer my one question in your rant? Why don't you write your own blog instead of commenting and taking shots on everyone else's? Is it because your one speed rant would grow old and tired real fast and people would grow bored and not give you the attention you so desperately crave? I can't imagine why someone with your vocabulary and writing style couldn't come up with different ways to call the Yankees bitches every week.
Please leave my nuts out of this.
With pleasure....
Erik,
Our wars ends when all wars end..
But I suppose we can get along...for Rosa Parks!!!!
