Does anyone else find it strange that in a season where you could win free Mets tickets by pawning your gold, Lenny Dykstra's pawning off his World Series ring in Japan? It's like past and present coming together in front of your eyes, and asking you if you can spare a quarter.

I find Dykstra's story tragic. Of course it's tough to feel sorry for him given all of the people that he has screwed over with broken promises. I wonder how long it will be until the Wilpon's entrust him with their finances.
Wait, can't we still blame Guillermo Mota? I like to stay consistent.
