Free Flow

Moises Alou's checklist:
  • Pee on hands.
  • Pee on Mets.

The flow was steady tonight at Balco Park as Alou's five RBI's sent the Mets reeling, 6-2. It's their fifth loss in seventh games. Irony of ironies, Alou's chances were set up in part by Mets pitchers intentionally walking a .222 hitter twice, the first coming with two outs and a runner on first to bring up Urine Man. And Alou's three run HR in the first off of Tommy Two Teeth (or more accurately tonight: Tommy Two Bad Frames) helped by the Bonds walk set the wheels in motion.

But it was the Mets falling just short of tying the game in the sixth, where Carlos Delgado's drive to left center fell into Randy Winn's glove after coming to within one run of possibly chasing Matt Cain was tonight's nail (yet another struggling pitcher finding the Mets lineup as just the tonic he needs to get himself right...speaking of which, does Moises Alou need to pee on Carlos Beltran's leg to help it heal?)

Metstra, Willy was horrible tonight and I was hoping you'd call him out. Not pinch hitting for Chavez, not walking Bonds with Glavine turned out to be big decisions. Maybe the Mets should just keep hitting the ball towards Barry until his knee explodes.

I did think walking Bonds with two down and a runner on first as he's struggling was very odd.

Has anyone else noticed that Reyes is only hitting .220? We won't win without him getting on base.

The Mutt$ are pathetic because tehy only get Ma Ma Monkey to throw out ceremonial first pitches. Who can take a franchise seriously when it's most famous fan is Ba Ba Booey. THe Mutt# should change their logo to have a bridge going over Baba's Green smelly teeth.

hahaha. Mutt$ fans are such losers.

You know, Pacific Bell/SBC/AT&T/Circle K Park really is a beautiful place to see a baseball game, and I would probably love the place if the Mets weren't 2-14 (or whatever) there over the past 5 years, and I wasn't constantly slumping out of the stands with my Mets cap hung in shame.

On the plus side, my mahi mahi taco was excellent.

i was @ the game last night @ balco park... pathetic!!!

i managed to get under rick petersons skin regarding zambrano... pissed sandy alomar sr. off... pleasentries exchanged with cliff and jerry manual.. issued a warning to reyes to quit popping out to left field..

brian bannister still has the look of a kid in a candy bar.. guess he still cant believe he is up in the majors..

AND REALIZED THAT JAY HOROWITZ IS A B!TCH... after the game, as i was leaving the stands, jay horowitz (the mets nasal spokesman) was walking towards the visiting club house.. i tried to shake his hand and the b@stard pushed me aside.. hope he pulls a hamstring...

rick peterson has a real profound effect on pitchers in the opposing bullpens...

as you said earlier, why do strugling pitchers come good once they face the mets?? and the balcos have the worst bullpen and they couldnt get anything going...

glavine just wasnt throwing 1st pitch strikes to anyone last night...kept falling behind early...
