What Will Kill Metstradamus First?

Oh, Metstradamus, that article is scary. I hope you are taking care of yourself. I don't know where we'd be without you. You go for a nice long walk outside in the sun today and forget about the Mets.

But don't miss tonight's game and whatever you do, don't neglect to write in your blog tonight! (haha only kidding - take a break if you need one, just hopefully not for too long.)

Metstra...
I personally think that watching the Mets might spell doom for you. But, since both of us suffered through years of Generation K, Art Howe, Anthony Young and Chico Walker, I think you will be fine. Think about it, training camp for your J-E-T-S
starts in three weeks....

I agree with katherine. Perhaps a break is in order. I think I'm going to catch up on some sleep, watch some reruns of Battlestar Galactica and forget about the game tonight.

The Mets vs Padres and Phils vs Braves games yesterday were a case study about the difference between these teams. Both down 2-1 late in the game, its the Phillies who fight back (admittedly, with a little luck- thanks a *^%^&ing lot Kelly Johnson) and win the game.

Geez. Wasn't it enough of a break after last September? And Metstra - you wrote this blog before tonight's game...I hope you did take this one off!

And the funeral? We'll take care of that with some of the skim off our bloated $200MM payroll. What Met fans forget is that they're not far off that ($140-$150MM?) and are just as much of a failure. We'll both miss the playoffs for the first time since 1993 and both stadiums will be dark as they close this fall. How about that for The Undertaker's prediction?

And yeah...we better get to Jets camp this year because NEXT YEAR JET CAMP WILL BE IN NEW JERSEY. Something else to feel good about.
