Trade Libs

I'm thinking this is how the Angel Pagan rumor got started. See how you do with it:

According to sources, the Mets are close to a deal that would send proper name to the team in exchange for proper name along with minor leaguer and cash. Mets front office employee had no comment, but an anonymous Mets source said that the trade is being made to create noun in their noun and that it would also provide first proper name with a change of noun.

Second proper name is thought to be extremely adjective and will help the Mets stat line in the short term. His adjective contract is very adjective for the Mets in the long term, and many fans are expected to verb the deal, which makes Mets front office types very emotion. Mets brass thinks that this trade is a better option than signing free agent.

In other news, Orlando Hernandez has been diagnosed with a strained muscle, a fractured bone, and has come down with rare affliction, yet still hopes to be ready by date due to his new, less strenuous delivery.

That was pretty corny

IT CERTAINLY WOULD MAKE SENSE TO ME FOR OMAR TO BE TALKING TURKEY ABOUT CRISP WITH THEO; BUT NOT WITH PAGAN IN MIND. ESPN REPORTS CUBS WANT CRISP FOR A PKG OF MARQUIS+ MINOR LEAGUE OUTFIELDER; BUT BOSOX REBUFFED OFFER PREFERRING BULLPEN HELP OR PITCHING PROSPECTS. WONDER IF SCHOENEWEISS FITS THEIR BULLPEN NEED? SHOW FOR CRISP, CRISP TO CUBS FOR MARQUIS (#5) + MINOR LEAGUER. CRISP IS A CLONE OF CHAVEZ & PAGAN ONLY MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE THAN BOTH. SHOW & CRISP ARE A SALARY WASH FOR BOSOX.

Hey, I was at the Wednesday game that Pagan won for the Mets! We had seats below the Tiki Bar, along left field. The Mets relief pitchers when they warm up during the game are throwing RIGHT THERE - we could have reached out and touched them. I saw Billy, Aaron, Joe, Duaner and Ricardo Rincon warm up. I got wonderful photos, too. After the game Endy, Angel and a bunch of other players ran sprints from the third baseline and after all that Angel came over and signed autographs for a long time. What a great guy he is. I couldn't help but remember Metstradamus's weird dream relating to him. I pray he will make the team. Has anybody heard about that? It seems likely, doesn't it?

If you think you can trade Schoeneweis for more than a bag of baseballs, you are out of your mind. Crisp is a serviceable centerfielder. Schoeneweis is a "specialist", if you can call him that; he would get eaten alive if he went back to the AL. He's only on the roster because he's making #3.6 Mil this year.

Schoeneweis' value is low, but I thought he pitched well last September (pretty much the only pitcher who didn't stink that month). Now that he'll start the season healthy I think he's going to bounce back, wherever he is. Iknow I'm in the minority, but I hope they keep him.

Willie's gotta get ith through his head that Schoeneweis is a LOOGY, nothing more...

if show's used only as a loogy his numbers will be fine. this of course is trusting that willie understands what a loogy is. eek.
