The Sun Goes Down Alone

Out on the road today,

I saw a Phillies jersey on Pedro's back.

A little voice inside my head said

"Don't look back, you can never look back."

I thought I knew what love was.

What did I know?

Those days are gone forever.

I should just let 'em go, but ...

This. Thief. Simply. Knows. No. Shame.
$55M for 39 wins over five pathetic years? And he does this to his "pal," Minaya? All that B.S. about "pride"? Coming back to the Mets to do what he left undone---if you pad his $100M bank account with an extra $5M. He has no pride, no shame.
I know we're in a baseball era of whores and cheats, and Martinez is a crack ho working his way Goldman Sachs, starting first bent under a desk in Philtydelphia...

Hopefully his arrival will help keep those Boys Of Summer out of the postseason.

Hopefully the roosters he and the "legendy" (and attempted on-field murderer of Dodgers' catcher Johnny Rosenboro)Juan Marichal like to torture in the DR peck the little traitors pecker off. I think I hate this fraud more than NYY fans---now that's something. Well, the mere fact he has to smell Philadelphia is punishment enough, I guess.

I can't hate on Pedro, sorry.

My favorite pitcher of all time & the best in his prime I ever saw.

Plus always a great soundbite.

For the 1mm Philthy paid for Pedro, Omar gets an additional write in vote in HOH for not bringing him back.

That's 1.5mm less than Tim Redding got. Who? Yeah exactly.

Anyone see this quote from Pedro today:

About the Mets-Phillies rivalry, and if he will have extra motivation to beat the Mets:

“I would love to tell you that, but I can’t hide love, and I have love for those people. I can’t do anything with the hate you have for the Mets fans. That’s between you guys.”

Damn the bro-mance w me & Pedro is still on!!!

See you under the mango tree in November, buddy just leave your new ring at home.

All this hating on Petey, who knew? I'm glad he's back on the mound, which is where he should be until he's certain he's done.

I hope he does well, and then the bullpen blows every game. Then I hope that Philly decides not to sign him next year. I don't know how much of this I can deal with.

yeah, I can't hate on Pedro. I mean we did nothing but brush him off, and he wanted to pitch so he took the best offer he good get. I'm hoping that what really happened is that this is all a conspiracy between Pedro and Omar to sabotage the Phillies a la Tom Glavine.
