A Gem Among Mulch...The Sequel
I don't know how the heck he did it, but during the 7th inning of tonight's game against San Diego, David Wright just topped his diving play into the play in Seattle with one of the most outrageous plays...EVER!
Full speed...
back to the play...
over the shoulder...
barehanded catch!
Please take a moment to revisit (or visit, if you only discovered this site after I wrote it, in which case it's new to you) my David Wright tribute poem, written after the Seattle play.
The future...is now the present.
I expect to see this play no less than 18 times on Saturday's FOX baseball pre-game show. Oh that's right, it wasn't Jeanne Zelasko's man on the side Derek Jeter who made the catch. Never mind.

Shouldn't Joe Randa "the ex-Met" be on the list too?
HOLY BASEBALL REFERENCE, YOU'RE RIGHT!!!!! He was a Met for ten minutes wasn't he!
The necessary changes will be made. Thank you!
