Bird Brain
Karma's a bitch, ain't it John Thomson?
Let's review: you found it necessary to use Paul Lo Duca and Cliff Floyd as examples as to why you wouldn't sign with the Mets.
Well let's ask a question: If you knew that Victor Zambrano, who is forever one pitch away from disaster, was going to pitch for the Blue Jays...would you have signed there?
Does Victor Zambrano meet your high standards of professionalism, talent, and health?
No really, I'd like to know.
Congratulations! You've passed up Paul Lo Duca for what's behind door number three...and you got a year's supply of canned squid. That'll teach you to open your mouth. Take solace though, I hear the Toronto school systems are excellent.

I haven't seen that kind of justice since Richard Nixon died in New Jersey!
Even on a Canadian site, we have to be reminded of "the trade."
Is it baseball journalism rule that every time you mention Victor Zambrano in an article, you have to mention the Kazmir trade three or four paragraphs down?
The Killer Zambie joins Tomo Okha and John Thompson. Yikes!
Do the Jays sign Lima Time! & Jeremi Gonzales now, to complete this stellar rotation? BJ Ryan may get about 6 save opportunities this year.
By the way, I can't tell you how happy I am that Zambrano is finally gone from our Met worlds.
I really thought Omar was going to sign Vicky Z again. Thank the Lord he didn't. I feel like the Mets have officially been cleansed of that debacle.
What's Kazmir's status? Will he be ready to pitch on Opening Day? Did he go under the knife?
Md - I'm surprised that Jimmy Rollins hasn't made your hate list recently. The team to beat in the NL East, huh?

Unser,
I'm going to let the Jimmy Rollins thing age like fine wine. I have plans.
HAHA. Steve Phillip$ has ruined the MUTT$$$
He admits to trading talented prospects just to keep his own job!
"Prospects cost GM's their Job." Said Steve Phillip$ on the worldwide 'leader' of sports!
ahhahahaa!
The MUTT$ got destroyed by Steve Phillips trading away Kazmir to save his own job for an extra year.
hahaa. losers.
At least my worst nightmare will not come to fruition. I always believed that the first Mets no-hitter in their history would come from Zambrano and that he would forever torment us as the answer to a trivia question.
Umm Phillips didn't trade away Kazmir. That was done in the infinite wisdom of Jim Duqette.
Below is a list of prospects traded by Phillips who became successful:
Jason Isringhausen
Jason Bay
AJ Burnett
Preston Wilson

Too funny. With the Venezuelan Suck Twins, Gonzo & Zambie up in Canada, can Hugo Chavez as manager be far behind?
Liberals hate god and that is obvious since liberals didn't want to free IROC and now that IROC ia s afree country libeals still complain about bringing home the troops that is why the USA rejects communism and knows that Bush is a great leader and will bring freedom to all!
I always wanted an IROC. My cousin Vito from Bay Ridge had a red one with t-tops and spoked wheels.
