Congratulations ...

... to Pedro Feliciano, for his induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Who knew? I believe that makes him the first lefty specialist to get into Canton. Ray Guy must be pissed.

As long as we're on a football theme, I guess you want a Super Bowl prediction from someone who calls himself a soothsayer. At the risk of multiple comments which encourage me to "stick to baseball" (though that hasn't gone very well either lately), I give you: Cardinals 31 Steelers 20.

(Editor's note: The blogger is not responsible for any money you may have lost listening to him ... He only hopes you were smart enough to take the points.)

Why is Jeter on the February Hate List? Did I miss something. Him simply being a Yankee doesn't justify this. He's a class act. I DO however fully agree with Cole Hamels & Roger Clemens being on the list.
If I were a World Champ (Hamels), the last thing I'd do is start bashing other teams. Enjoy your victory and show some class buddy. Clemens, of course, needs no explanation...

how about that big HEADLINE on foxsports.com?

Jeter makes his super bowl prediction! That was one of the top 5 stories in sports. That's more than enough to get him on my hate list.

Stick to baseball...looking at your prediction. And don't take the points it turns out.

  4. Thanks Larry. But if you took the points with the Cardinals you won. 7 1/2, dude. But nice catch in the fourth.
