Boy, you wouldn't think that it would be January and Mike Piazza would still be looking for a job. Apparently, he's had to resort to more conventional tactics.
He'll end up with somebody at a bargain price and may make them look smart. I hate to say it....but he'll enter the Hall along with Johnny Bench and Yogi Berra as one of the greatest hitting catchers to play the game. He won't end up like Carter with another team's hat...he'll join Seaver as a Met. He deserves it.
You continue to make good use of Photoshop, Metstra. And this post was very funny, while your last post widened my eyes with its... seething... hate. Keep mixing it up like this and you might get to be 5th in the rotation!

ReplyDelete"threw out a baserunner"
Classic. Love the pic. I feel bad for the big guy. You think he regrets not working harder at first base?
ReplyDeletehilarious--i still think it will be baltimore-and he will hit 22 HRs in 350 ABs--missing a month due to injury, as always
ReplyDeleteP.S.--AND THEY WILL FINISH LAST
ReplyDeleteLet's see Piazza needs a job and Anahiem (or is it Los Angeles at Anehiem - I guess the court will decide!) needs a catcher/DH/right handed hitter.
ReplyDeleteWhat are they waiting for?
