The Phillies have acquired relief pitcher Ugueth Urbina and shortstop Ramon Martinez from the Detroit Tigers for infielder Placido Polanco.
Since everyone in the N.L. East still has a chance to win the division, all five teams will be active from now until the trading deadline.
