Besides, someone needs to be the bullpen goat, and we don't have Guillermo Mota to kick around anymore.

The last commenter is right about Schoeneweis's splits, he was fine against lefties. One thing though, now that I'm looking at the numbers: his 2007 ERA was 3.26 on the road but 6.91 at Shea! Sure it's a smallish sample size, but still -- no wonder the guy gets booed, none of us have ever seen him pitch well in person.Emmahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03064841292940508545noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12468344.post-26015721977269620222008-01-27T15:15:00.000-05:002008-01-27T15:15:00.000-05:00check his splits, the show is pretty damn good vs ...check his splits, the show is pretty damn good vs lefties. if willie would learn how to use a bullpen...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12468344.post-38999001966892350142008-01-26T03:26:00.000-05:002008-01-26T03:26:00.000-05:00Remember Testicular Cancer Awareness day?Did he ev...Remember Testicular Cancer Awareness day?
Did he even get booed that day?katherinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03757578559952821218noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12468344.post-27253653575242223362008-01-26T00:23:00.000-05:002008-01-26T00:23:00.000-05:00Hey, Schoeneweis was the Mets' best reliever down ...Hey, Schoeneweis was the Mets' best reliever down the (horrid) stretch ... for what that's worth.Metstradamushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18023215480704948183noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12468344.post-10151598247235139092008-01-25T23:36:00.000-05:002008-01-25T23:36:00.000-05:00right with you emma, except for a certain rain del...right with you emma, except for a certain rain delayed game in Florida.
